Salvation

Delieverance from sin, and its consequences, believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ.

Having been led as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior (John 6:44), and on the profession of our faith (Rom. 10:9), having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost (Matt. 28:19-20), we do now in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

The Holy Spirit at work, within you is indisputable proof of your salvation. The Holy Spirit’s work in your life will bring changes. Some changes will be gradual; some changes will be instant. The inward and outward changes that result are the final proof of your salvation.
